Biography

Margaret Walshaw is based within the School of Curriculum and Pedagogy. She is co-director of the Centre of Excellence for Research in Mathematics Education (CERME) and coordinator of the Doctor of Education (EdD) programme. She teaches postgraduate papers in research and in mathematics education. Currently Margaret is engaged as co-principal investigator in a project exploring how national identities are formed and expressed and how young people act national identities out in every day life.  Margaret has published widely both nationally and internationally.
