Call for Submissions: [Teaching and Learning] in education

Guest Editors Bonnie Watt, Centre for Research for Teacher Education and Development and Department of Secondary Education, University of Alberta, and Remonia Stoddart-Morrison, Department of Secondary Education, University of Alberta, invite your submissions to a special issue on teaching and learning, for the Spring 2019 issue.

The intent of this issue is to disseminate findings addressing theoretical and applied research into teaching and learning.

Topics include:

  • Teaching and learning: k-12 through to post-secondary (i.e., college, apprenticeship, university, workplace).
  • Teacher education: pre-service, in-service, and professional development.
  • Critical concerns related to teaching and learning, for example, ethical relationships, mentoring, subject-specific curricula, early school leavers, and indigenous, community, and/or project-based pedagogies.

Varied methodologies and theoretical conceptions in the area of teaching and learning are welcome.

Manuscripts due: January 31, 2019 (see below for manuscript and submission guidelines).

Manuscripts length: maximum of 5,000 to 6,000 words exclusive of title page, 250-word abstract, references, and appendices.
